Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 23 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative in India, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today launched 'NORKA CARE', a comprehensive health and accident insurance program designed exclusively for Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs).

The scheme promises to set a new benchmark in expatriate welfare, offering immediate and extensive coverage for Keralites living abroad.

"Kerala has always led the way in ensuring the welfare of its global community by delivering services with efficiency and excellence," the Chief Minister said, adding that the program fulfills a long-standing demand of NRKs repeatedly voiced at the World Kerala Community Convention.
