New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, party leader OP Dhankhar and MCD Mayor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh on Wednesday welcomed newly elected municipal councillors and other office-bearers from Kerala at the New Delhi Railway Station upon their arrival here.

Thiruvananthapuram's Mayor VV Rajesh, Deputy Mayor GS Asha Nath, and other representatives elected in the Kerala municipal body elections were part of the delegation from the state.

BJP workers welcomed the councillors from Kerala, and extended warm welcome on their maiden visit to the capital city after winning a majority in Thiruvananthapuram corporation elections.
