Kochi, Dec. 21 -- : Kerala on Sunday bade a tearful farewell to veteran Malayalam actor, screenwriter and filmmaker Sreenivasan, as his final rites were held with full official honours in the courtyard of his residence at Kandanad near Udayamperoor in Kochi.
The passing of the multifaceted artist has left Malayalam cinema and cultural Kerala in deep mourning.
The funeral rites were performed at 10 AM, with his elder son Vineeth Sreenivasan lighting the funeral pyre, while his younger son Dhyan Sreenivasan stood beside him, offering a final salute to his father.
