Thiruvananthapuram, July 22 -- As part of preparations for the upcoming local body elections in Kerala, the draft voter list will be published on July 23, State Election Commissioner A. Shajahan announced today.
The draft list contains 2,66,78,256 voters across 20,998 wards in 1,034 local bodies, including 1,26,32,186 men, 1,40,45,837 women, and 233 transgender persons.
The list has been compiled by reorganizing the voter data updated during the 2024 summary revision to reflect the newly defined wards. The final voter list will be published on August 30.
Following the 2020 general local body elections, summary revisions were conducted in October 2023 and July 2024.
