Kochi, July 5 -- Kerala has made a significant impact on India's Green Building Movement, with over 460 projects registered under the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). These projects span across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional, covering a vast area of 49 million square feet.
Notable platinum-rated projects include Kochi Metro Rail Ltd, the Reserve Bank of India office in Kochi, Kannur International Airport, Indian Oil Corporation's Calicut office, and Club Mahindra Ashtamudi.
Other key achievements include Net Zero Water certification for Shoba City in Thrissur, and gold ratings for Lulu Mall in Thiruvananthapuram and Vismayam, Kerala's first IGBC Gold-rated home.
