Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 21 -- The Kerala Industries Department has launched a new online platform to market the products of textile units under its fold, in a bid to modernise operations and expand market reach.
The platform, www.bpt.cditproject.org, developed by the Board for Public Sector Transformation (BPT) with technical support from C-DIT, will facilitate e-bidding and e-auction of textile products.
Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, who inaugurated the initiative, said the move is part of the government's strategy to strengthen public sector undertakings (PSUs) by making them competitive, profitable, and attuned to modern market demands.
