Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 24 -- Kerala has taken a major step towards positioning itself as a global smart manufacturing hub, with Industries Minister P Rajeeve today launching the Framework for Hi-Tech Manufacturing, aimed at accelerating technology-driven growth, R&D, and innovation.
"The framework seeks to establish Kerala as a centre for advanced R&D, design and engineering, testing, inspection, and certification services within the manufacturing sector," Rajeeve said while inaugurating the initiative here.
