Thiruvananthapurm, March 26 -- Kerala is drafting its own Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy, State Minister for Industries P Rajeeve said on Wednesday.

"Kerala hosted India's first international Generative AI conclave with IBM. AI has already been integrated into academics, with 80,000 teachers trained," the Minister said in a post on 'X.'

"Kerala is now expanding AI courses in universities. Rs 10 crore has been allocated for a GPU cluster to support deep tech startups. The focus is on AI driven jobs, innovation, and skilling."
