Kannur, Oct. 1 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today said that Kerala has transformed into an entrepreneur-friendly economy by removing red tape and scrapping outdated laws.

He was speaking after inaugurating the completion of the second phase of modernization works at the Kannur Co-operative Spinning Mill in Chovva, implemented at a cost of Rs 20.68 crore.

The Chief Minister said the transformation in the state's industrial sector was not accidental but the result of clear planning and determined interventions.

Vijayan pointed out that the second phase of the modernization project, launched during the previous LDF government in 2019, has opened new opportunities for the spinning mill.
