Thiruvananthapuram, June 12 -- Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed their deep sorrow over the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
In a message on X, the Governor said, "Prayers to the family members of those on the ill-fated Air India Plane that crashed. It is an hour of deep national sorrow. I join in this hour of grief."
The Chief Minister said, "Deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash near the Ahmedabad airport. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. The Government of Kerala stands with all those affected during this time of sorrow."
