Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 17 -- Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President and MLA Sunny Joseph has accused the state government of deceiving Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) by diverting Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) allocations outside the state budget, thereby denying them their legally mandated share of funds.
Sunny Joseph said that by executing major development projects directly through KIIFB instead of including them in the annual state budget, the government has effectively deprived Scheduled Communities of the 12 percent share they are legally entitled to from all plan allocations.
