Kannur, Feb. 27 -- The Kerala Government has approved a proposal of the Tourism Department for the renovation of Melur Shiva Temple at Dharmadam Village near Thalassery, at a project cost of Rs 1.72 crore.
The projects include the construction of Oottupara, a modern kitchen, and improved toilet facilities. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Melur Shiva Temple is managed by the Malabar Devaswom Board and is a vibrant centre of spirituality and community life.
