Thiruvananthapuram, Nov. 12 -- With the Model Code of Conduct currently in force in Kerala following the announcement of the local body elections, the state government has constituted a screening committee to scrutinize and expedite files that require prior approval from the State Election Commission.
According to the official order, the committee will be chaired by the Chief Secretary, while the Secretary of the General Administration Department will serve as the convener. The Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, or Secretary of the concerned department will be a member.
