Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 12 -- Farmers in Kerala are eligible for subsidy assistance of up to 85 per cent for installing micro-irrigation facilities, including drip and sprinkler systems, under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana-Per drop More Crop (RKVY-PDMC) scheme.
The scheme, jointly implemented by the Centre and State, aims to promote modern irrigation methods to enhance crop productivity and ensure water-use efficiency.
Farmers owning cultivable land can avail 55 per cent subsidy on installation costs, while an additional 30 per cent support is provided through the State's Kerala Samrudhi Scheme.
