Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 12 -- Kerala Police detained 147 people and seized MDMA and other drugs as part of the 'Operation D-Hunt', a statewide special drive to crack down on drug trafficking.
During the operation, 1,828 individuals suspected of involvement in the drug sales were inspected. Police registered 134 cases for possession of various banned narcotics. A release said, "The seized contraband included MDMA (0.03447 kg), ganja (42.9687 kg), and 93 ganja-laced cigarettes".
