Thiruvananthapuram, April 5 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has written to his Karnataka counterpart Siddaramaiah, urging immediate and enhanced action to trace missing IT professional G.S. Sharanya, who disappeared during a trekking trip in Kodagu.

In his letter, Vijayan expressed concern over the incident, noting that the 36-year-old woman from Kerala went missing while trekking in the Thadiyandamol hills on April 2.

He acknowledged that search operations are currently underway and requested Siddaramaiah's personal intervention to intensify efforts.
