Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 19 -- Kerala is set to make a major stride in its digital journey with the launch of an Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming service under the Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) project.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will dedicate the new service to the people at a function to be held at the Kanakakunnu Nishagandhi Auditorium here on August 21 at 6 p.m.
The service, which integrates 29 OTT platforms and more than 350 digital channels, marks the state's entry into the competitive digital entertainment space. Leading figures from political, cultural, and social spheres are expected to attend the event.
