Thiruvananthapuram, June 26 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday told the State Assembly that commandos would be posted for the security of jails in the state. The Chief Minister said while replying to a submission moved by Congress member KC Joseph in connection with the seizure of mobile phones and drugs from prison inmates in Kannur. Mr Vijayan stated that commandos of the Indian Reserve Battalion would be deputed for guarding jails and action would be taken against officials violating prison rules.
