Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 24 -- Kerala BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Wednesday criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's announcement to introduce a new personal identification record in the state, calling it an example of "dangerous divisive politics."Chandrasekhar said the Chief Minister is unfit for office, accusing him of spreading misunderstanding and fear over voter list revisions carried out constitutionally by the Election Commission of India.
The BJP leader added that his party will legally oppose any initiative to provide special identification records to Kerala residents.
