Kannur, Oct. 21 -- Kerala Chief Minister and CPI(M) polit bureau member Pinarayi Vijayan has said that votes cast in favour of the BJP "would ultimately destroy Kerala's unique identity and achievements" and urged people to ensure "continuity in governance".
He was addressing the CPI(M) new district committee office "Azhikodan mandiram", a five- storey office complex, at Talap.
Mr Pinarayi Vijayan urged the people to support the Left Democratic Front (LDF) to ensure the continuation of "progressive governance" in the State, "to ensure overall development across all sectors and to secure the prosperity of its people".
The LDF government has marked two tenures from 2016.
