Kochi, Dec. 13 -- Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan on Saturday asserted that the Chief Minister must immediately instruct CPI(M) cadres to put down their weapons, warning that the Congress and the United Democratic Front (UDF) would not be cowed down by violence unleashed in the wake of the ruling party's electoral defeat.
Responding to a series of violent incidents allegedly involving CPI(M) activists in Panoor and other parts of the State, the Opposition Leader said the party had resorted to widespread attacks after suffering reverses in the elections.
