Kochi, Dec. 12 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today inaugurated the sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB), formally opening South Asia's largest contemporary art festival and launching 110 days of international artistic collaboration and cultural exchange across Kochi.

The Biennale, which opens today, brings together artists and creative practitioners from across the globe, celebrating artistic freedom, dialogue and cultural coexistence, the Chief Minister said.

At a time marked by polarising currents, the event stands as a powerful reaffirmation of Kerala's enduring commitment to plurality, diversity and democratic expression, he added.
