Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 23 -- Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday approved a project report to establish an International Ayurveda Research Centre at Kalliyad in Kannur district.
State Health Minister KK Shailaja said the first stage of the development works costing Rs 112.46 crore of the project has been approved.
She said that 36.57 acres of land identified for the project has been handed over to the Ayurveda department.
The project will be implemented though KIFBI, she added.
