Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 2 -- Congress leaders in Kerala harshly criticized the BJP for its "hypocrisy" towards Christians, stating that while the BJP in Chhattisgarh fans the flames of hate, the Kerala BJP sheds crocodile tears.
Reacting to the arrest of two Malayali nuns in Chhattisgarh and their release on bail by an NIA court today, they called the Kerala BJP's stance "astounding hypocrisy."
Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly, V.D. Satheesan, said: "While the BJP in Chhattisgarh fans the flames of hate, the Kerala BJP sheds crocodile tears. The hypocrisy is astounding. We are not shaken by stones thrown at us-we will continue to stand firm for justice."
