Thiruvananthapuram, June 18 -- As part of preventing the overuse of antibiotics, Kerala aims to achieve complete antibiotic literacy by December 2025 in the state.
"By the end of this year, Kerala aims to ensure that all hospitals and local bodies in the state conduct antibiotic awareness programmes, and that antibiotics are not dispensed without a valid prescription," Health Minister Veena George has said.
As part of the World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, the health minister released the district-level report of state-wide activities conducted to prevent the overuse of antibiotics.
