Kasaragod, Feb. 2 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi VIjayan today strongly criticized the union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, alleging cruel disregard against the state.
He said Ms Sitharaman forgot the fact that "Kerala remains on the Map of India too", while inaugurating the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Kerala Development and progress North zone jatha (march) led by CPI(M) State secretary M V Govindan, at Manjeswaram.
Vijayan said all the ongoing demands of Kerala, including the AIIMS, High Speed Rail corridor, Special project for Vizhinjam port and to increase the financial share of Kerala were completely ignored by the Centre in the union Budget.
