Thiruvananthapuram, May 16 -- Kerala Police arrested 80 persons and registered 79 cases as part of its 'Operation D-Hunt,' a special raid to curb drug-peddling across the state.

As many as 1950 persons were checked in a special drive held state-wide on May 14, leading to the arrest and filing of cases.

Police seized 9.6246 grams of MDMA, 1.06467 kgs of ganja and 53 ganja beedis from them.
