Palakkad, Jan. 26 -- Palakkad Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Madhukar Roat, unfurled the national flag, as part of celebrating the 77th Republic Day with an official ceremony at the Railway ground, Kallekulangara, today.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, the DRM presented the Republic Day awards to employees in recognition of their outstanding dedication and performance over the past year. Roat highlighted the division's steady progress and key achievements in the last year.
DRM said the Division recorded a total revenue of Rs 1,383 crore, registering a growth of 7.17 percent, with passenger revenue exceeding Rs 836 crore. Digital ticketing continued to gain popularity, accounting for over 85 percent of unreserved ticketing. Transp...
