Wayanad, March 29 -- AICC general secretary and MP, Priyanka Gandhi, on Saturday assured that she will make efforts to avail the maximum central funds for Wayand.
While addressing the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at collectorate here, she said that she will put maximum pressure on the central government to release the central funds for projects, like Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGREGS), as well as for agriculture, education, sorts and various other central projects.
Ms Gandhi also promised to increase the compensation amount for farmers.
