Palakkad (Kerala), Feb. 12 -- A detailed complaint alleging widespread forest land encroachment, illegal regularisation of government lease land, tourism activities and large-scale corruption within the Forest Department has been submitted seeking a comprehensive investigation against senior officials of the Nenmara Forest Division.

The complaint names Nenmara Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Praveen P. and Range Officer Sherif C., accusing them of facilitating issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), enabling commercial exploitation of ecologically sensitive forest land, and amassing disproportionate assets.
