Kozhikode, May 11 -- In a tragic road accident, four people, including three women, were killed and eight others sustained injuries in collision of a speeding traveller van and a car at Moorad NH 66 near Vadakara, of the district on Sunday.
All four deceased were occupants of the car.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Roja of New Mahe, Jayavalli of Mahe, Renji of Azhiyoor and Shighin Lal of Mahe.
Another passenger in the car, Sathyan of Chorode was seriously injured and has been admitted at the Vadakara Co-operative hospital.
The accident occurred at around 3.15 pm, when the car, after refuelling at a nearby petrol pump, was
