Palakkad, Feb. 19 -- Former CPI(M) MLA, P K Sasi, resigned from the post of chairman of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) today.
Talking to newspersons here following his resignation, the 68-year-old leader explained that "he resigned due to personal reasons and there was no pressure, provocation or direction from any one."The CPI(M) dissident leader refuted the reports of joining Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) and is likely to contest from Ottapalam or Shoranur assembly constituency in the coming elections. He also denied the reports of holding talks with KPCC president Sunny Joseph so far about the joining of UDF.
