Kochi, April 28 -- The Cochin International Airport on Monday received an alleged bomb threat claiming that an RDX-based explosive had been clandestinely planted at the airport but after a thorough search, it was proved to be a hoax.
"A bomb threat message received to pro@cial.aero claimed that an 'RDX-based explosive device has been clandestinely planted at the CIAL! Evacuate All by 2 pm,' at 07.53 am from achimuthu_ahmed_shankar@outlook.com," the airport sources said quoting the email.
