Alappuzha (Kerala), Dec. 30 -- The Mavelikkara Additional Sessions Court on Tuesday acquitted all the accused in the sensational 2012 murder case of ABVP activist Vishal, bringing to a close to the trial that lasted over 12 years.
Vishal, a 19-year-old undergraduate student and active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Chengannur, was stabbed during an attack on July 16, 2012, near Chengannur Christian College, where he had gone to attend a welcome programme for new students.
