Malappuram, Jan. 15 -- Two people were killed and six others were injured, two seriously, in a road accident in Kuttippuram near here at the wee hours on Wednesday morning.
Police sources identified the deceased as Prabhakar (52) and Panduranga (36), both natives of Iriyoor in Karnataka. The injured has been admitted to a private hospital.
The accident occured when the car in which the Karnataka-natives were travelling hit a truck, head-on, on the national highway near Kuttippuram town.
