Bhubaneswar, Dec. 8 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that Keonjhar will become the third steel city of Odisha, with a mega steel plant to be established on the lines of Rourkela and Kalinganagar in Jajpur.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the integrated development of the Maa Tarini Shrine in Ghatagaon, a project worth Rs 313 crore, Majhi highlighted several major development initiatives planned for the district.
The Chief Minister said that Keonjhar will receive multiple infrastructure upgrades, including a bypass road, the Paradip-Bada Bil eight-lane road, the Bada Bil ring road, a tech park, a data centre, a textile park, a stadium, and many other projects.
