New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal today visited flood relief camps in the Shastri Park area of Delhi to meet flood victims.
"Residents at the camps stated that there were no adequate arrangements for food, drinking water, or shelter, with many claiming they had been forced to sleep in the open during heavy rain until tents were set up just a day prior, on Thursday," he said while addressing the media.
"Natural disasters cannot be prevented, but it is the government's responsibility to ensure arrangements for the poor and other citizens," Kejriwal noted.
