Bengaluru, March 22 -- Joining the intensifying "propaganda versus truth" debate in the film industry, Grammy award winner Ricky Kej has described Aditya Dhar's "Dhurandhar" franchise as a "revolution" that presents "unvarnished truths" and reflects "a renewed sense of national identity."Weighing in on criticism surrounding the film's themes, Kej said Bollywood has, for decades, "normalised certain narrative patterns," including "sympathetic portrayals of antagonists, stereotypical character arcs, and depictions of Indian traditions as regressive," which, he suggested, have shaped audience perceptions over time.
