Kolhapurr, Oct. 24 -- Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana (SSS) national president and former MP Raju Shetty on Thursday urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to keep aside the proposed 'Shaktipeeth' Express Highway project and focus on more pressing issues facing the state.
Talking to reporters, Shetty said the state government had initiated the land acquisition process for the proposed Shaktipeeth Highway from Nagpur to Goa, excluding Kolhapur district.
