Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 19 -- AICC General Secretary and Member of Parliament K C Venugopal on Friday expressed solidarity with GP Kunjabdulla, the lyricist of a parody song highlighting the alleged gold looting from the Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala, and strongly criticised the ruling CPI(M) for what he termed 'state-sponsored intolerance.'Venugopal said he had spoken to Kunjabdulla over the phone and congratulated him on the song's powerful lyrics, noting that they had resonated with the public across Kerala. He assured the lyricist of full legal support from the Congress party in connection with the case reportedly initiated following a complaint.
