Almaty, May 31 -- The Kazakh Defence Ministry will hold military combat readiness drills from June 2-5, the ministry said on Saturday.
"From June 2 until June 5, 2025, under the Republic of Kazakhstan armed forces' training plan, the events aimed at operation readiness inspection of the military units and formations will be held in a number of regions of the country," the ministry said.
The plan includes an alarm call, advancement of military convoys to the exercise sites, to training areas and centers, the ministry specified.
The drills will be held for training purposes and their main aim is to raise the level of combat readiness, as well as troops cohesion and improve command skills, the ministry said.
