Hyderabad, April 21 -- Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Tuesday announced the launch of a new political party on April 25, positioning it as a fresh force in state politics and calling for public support.
Addressing the media at her office, Banjara Hills, she said party workers have already begun a padayatra from Sircilla as part of mobilisation efforts.
She urged the police and civic authorities not to create hurdles for vehicles and campaign activities related to the party launch.
Kavitha extended support to RTC workers on strike, alleging that employees were pressured to call off their protest.
