Itanagar, March 6 -- Emphasising on the importance of rain water harvesting, Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Rattan Lal Kataria on Friday said that his Ministry would launch 'Catch the rain, where it falls and when it falls' on April 1 next for which preparations are underway.
Addressing a press conference here this morning, the Union Minister said, "We get water from three sources -- glacier, surface water and underground water. Our effort is to increase it through the 'Catch the rain' campaign."
"We will cover more than seven departments under the campaign, including the Indian Army, Railways, hospitals, etc," he said.
