Srinagar, Nov. 27 -- Kashmir valley continued to shiver as Srinagar witnessed season's coldest night with minimum temperature plunged to minus 2.1 degree Celsius on Sunday even as the Meteorological Department forecast of mainly dry weather over J&K during the next 24 hours, officials said.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, experienced the coldest night of the season with the minimum temperature plummeting to minus 2.1 degree Celsius on Sunday against the minus 1.6 degree Celsius recorded a day ago. The temperature was minus 1.2 degrees below normal during this period of the season, MeT office said.
