Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- Kashmir is in the grip of an intense cold wave, with temperatures plunging to their lowest November levels in 17 years. Residents across the region are reeling as night temperatures remain far below normal, disrupting daily routines and adding to winter hardships.
According to the Meteorological Department, minimum night temperatures are 1-4degC below normal in most parts of Kashmir, while several pockets of the Jammu division have also recorded readings below the seasonal average.
