Srinagar, Dec. 3 -- Kashmir experienced another freezing night as minimum temperatures continued to remain well below the freezing point, dipping 3 to 6 degrees across several parts of the Valley.
The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar said the summer capital recorded a low of -4.4degC on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, around 3.2 degrees below normal.
Shopian in south Kashmir remained the coldest at -5.9degC, followed by Konibal Pampore at -5.0degC and Pahalgam at -4.6degC. Kokernag was comparatively milder at -1.2degC, while Qazigund recorded -3.6degC.
In north Kashmir, the MeT office said Kupwara registered a minimum of -4.1degC, and the ski resort of Gulmarg settled at -2.6degC.
