Srinagar, Dec. 30 -- Widespread light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely across the Kashmir division and the Pir Panjal region over the next 24 hours, while the plains of Jammu division may witness scattered light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, the Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.
According to the weather forecast, fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rain, snow and thundershowers are expected to continue across Jammu and Kashmir over the subsequent two days as well.
MeT said weather conditions on December 30 are expected to remain generally cloudy, with light rain or snowfall likely at many places towards late afternoon or evening.
