Srinagar, Dec. 29 -- A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to bring rain and snow on New Year's Eve across Kashmir.

Meteorological officials on Monday predicted isolated light rain or snowfall over the Kashmir division during the next 24 hours, while mainly dry weather is expected to prevail in the Jammu division.

The MeT Department said that the outlook for the subsequent two days indicates scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rain or snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir, under the influence of an active weather system.
