Varanasi, March 11 -- Kashi's saints are deeply angered by the alleged remarks made by Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda of Jyotish Peeth against the Ramanandi sect.
An important meeting of the Ramanandi sect's saints was held on Wednesday at the Patalpuri Math in Naraharipura under the chairmanship of Jagadguru Balak Devacharya Ji Maharaj. The saints present at the meeting strongly condemned Swami Avimukteshwarananda's statement.
