Varanasi, Sept. 20 -- In the holy city of Kashi, the Gangotri Seva Samiti organized a 'pind daan' and 'shraddh' ritual at Dashashwamedh Ghat today for the peace and salvation of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.
The ceremony was led by committee president Kishori Raman Dubey, who conducted it in accordance with Vedic traditions.
Seven priests performed the pind daan with Vedic chants.
